First responders save trapped defenders

A team of first responders cut a hole in the roof of a guard shack with two U.S. Air Force Airmen trapped inside during typhoon Neoguri on Kadena Air Base, Japan, July 9, 2014. The powerful typhoon caused a flash flood which engulfed the guard shack and trapped the Airman inside. Thanks to the efforts of the responders the Airmen were rescued safely. (Courtesy photo)
