909th conducts joint training with Navy F/A-18s

A U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet receives fuel from a KC-135 Stratotanker from Kadena Air Base, Japan, during a joint training exercise in the Asian-Pacific region, Nov. 26, 2013. The exercise consisted of multiple F/A-18 Super Hornets, stationed on the USS George Washington aircraft carrier being refueled by a KC-135 Stratotanker with a drogue adapter attached to boom, which is capable of off-loading 1,000 pounds of fuel per minute.
