War Week prepares Airmen for real-life situations

Airmen from the 31st Rescue Squadron and 33rd Rescue Squadron Kadena Air Base, Japan; 212th Air National Guard from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Anchorage, Alaska; and the 48th Rescue Squadron of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona; participated in the three-day war week exercise at Marine Corps Camp Hansen's training area, Japan, Oct. 29, 2013, in order to prepare for potential real-life situations while deployed downrange. Several volunteers from Kadena Air Base played roles ranging from opposing forces to injured personnel in order to assist members of the 31st and 33rd RQS in training scenarios.
