Veteran retires after 44 years in government service

U.S. Air Force Col. Brian McDaniel, 18th Wing vice commander, awards Bienvenido Baluyot the presidential retirement letter during Baluyot’s retirement ceremony at the NCO Club on Kadena Air Base, Japan, Aug. 29, 2013. Baluyot was born in Manila, Republic of the Philippines, and served 23 years active duty Air Force.
