SecAF visits Kadena

U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Brad Reeves, 18th Security Forces Squadron flight chief, shows Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James where first responders cut into the roof of the guard shack to rescue two Airmen. Reeves was one of the several U.S. and Japanese 18th SFS and 18th Civil Engineer Squadron members involved in the rescue of two security forces Airmen who had been trapped in the guard shack by a flash flood during Typhoon Neoguri July 9, 2014. James visited Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 25, 2014, to get a firsthand look at Airmen in action across the Pacific with stops in Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, Japan and the Republic of Korea.
