Volunteers from the U.S. Air Force, Japan Air Self Defense Force and Kinki-Chubu Defense Bureau partner to clean a local park in Komatsu, Japan, Nov. 15, 2014. The volunteers used their day off to give back to the community by pulling weeds, picking up trash, raking leaves, sweeping sidewalks and cleaning gutters in a local park. The U.S. Air Force members were in the area as part of local military training and exercises -- the 35th Fighter Wing from Misawa Air Base, Japan, took part in the Aviation Training Relocation Program. The 212th Rescue Squadron from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, and the 33rd Rescue Squadron from Kadena Air Base, Japan, took part in Exercise Keen Sword. (U.S. Air Force photo by 2nd Lt.
