Japan, U.S. conduct bilateral training at Torii Station

First responders from Nirai Fire Department remove the door from a privately owned vehicle in order to extract and provide care to a simulated victim during a bilateral training exercise on Torii Station, Japan, Feb. 17, 2015. During the exercise, the readiness and interoperability of U.S. military and Japanese emergency response agencies was tested as medical personnel responded to simulated injuries, firefighters doused contained fires and members of the 33rd Rescue Squadron performed a simulated rescue operation.
