Kadena rucks for Bataan Death March POWs

Joint military forces, government civilian employees and their families participate in an 8.5-mile march around the Kadena Air Base, Japan, flightline May 23, 2015. The Bataan Memorial Death March memorial ruck was held to honor the American and Filipino servicemen who defended the island of Luzon in the Philippines in 1942 and had to march more than 60 miles. Participants endured the march with weighted packs as a tribute to those who were forced through the unforgiving event during World War II. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Maeson L. Elleman)
