The 18th Aerospace Medicine Squadron provides an air sampling pump to an 18th Security Forces Squadron Combat Arms instructor during the M-4 carbine Air Force Qualification Course at the combat arms training maintenance range, Dec. 3, 2015, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. After the air sampling survey, the 18th Aerospace Medicine Squadron compares the results to specific substances' Occupational and Environmental Exposure Limits. It is important to use an appropriate OEEL when deciding whether a measured exposure to an airborne substance is acceptable or unacceptable. (U.S. Air Force photo by Naoto Anazawa)
