ADFA visits KAB, learns about the Battle of Okinawa
William McEvoy, 18th Wing chief historian, shows Australian Army Lt. Col. Ross Cable, Australian Army Knowledge Group historian and Australian Armored Corps officer, artifacts related to Kadena Air Base's history April 9, 2019, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. The KAB history office collaborated with Marine Corps Community Services to provide tours of battlefields across the island as well as a few military bases for the Australian Defence Force Academy cadets. Fostering key partnerships is vital especially in the incredibly vast Pacific area of operations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Benjamin Sutton)
