Strengthening Alliances

A Republic of Korea Air Force F-16D Fighting Falcon refuels with a KC-135 Stratotanker from the 909th Air Refueling Squadron during a training exercise Oct. 8, 2019. The 909th ARS from Kadena Air Base trained with the ROKAF Falcons to deepen interoperability, enhancing joint lethality to maintain peace in a contested environment. The U.S. Indo-Pacific Command is committed to enhancing stability in the Asia-Pacific region by promoting security cooperation, encouraging peaceful development, responding to contingencies, deterring aggression, and, when necessary, fighting to win.
