A U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker from the 909th Air Refueling Squadron refuels U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcons from the 35th Fighter Wing, Misawa Air Base, Japan and a U.S. Air Force F-15C Eagle from the 67th Fighter Squadron while participating in Exercise Westpac Rumrunner, out of Kadena Air Base, Japan, Oct. 16, 2020. The 18th Wing executed the third iteration of Exercise WestPac Rumrunner with joint partners with a focus on improved interoperability and fine-tuning of agile combat employment concepts. ACE is the cornerstone of the wing’s operating concept. It enables forces to operate from locations with varying levels of capacity and support, ensuring multi-capable Airmen are postured in a position of advantage to generate combat power.
