The Green Demons fuel up at Kadena

A U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II, assigned to the 356th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, 354th Air Expeditionary Wing, taxis on the runway for a hot-pit refueling at Kadena Air Base, Japan, June 27, 2022. Hot-pit refueling uses a single-point refuel pump which allows an aircraft to be refueled immediately after landing, with the engine running. This cuts down on response time and ensures the mission can be completed anytime, anywhere. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Sebastian Romawac)
