BH 26-1: Kadena Airmen prove readiness in MASCAL exercise

U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 18th Civil Engineer Squadron and 18th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron provide medical care to simulated injured personnel from the 18th Comptroller Squadron during a mass casualty exercise in support of base-wide operational readiness exercise BH 26-1 at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Nov. 6, 2025. Once fire crews cleared the area of possible unexploded ordnance, the medical response team performed tactical combat casualty care, treating simulated blast and burn victims and coordinating medical transport as needed.
