Protecting the eyes in the sky

 Kadena’s optometry flight is responsible for maintaining Airmen’s ability to see and provide eyewear to those with vision impairments. Optometry professionals perform yearly eye exams to assess Airmen’s vision capabilities and look for signs of eye disorders, such as cataracts or glaucoma.
