Shogun-Tree rescue

Two PJ’s from the 31st Rescue Squadron lower 1st Lt. Alan “Hawk” Schulenberg, 44th Fighter Squadron, from a tree while another PJ grabs the injured pilot and eases him to the ground during an exercise on proper life saving procedures at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Oct. 23, 2007. In the exercise PJ’s practiced recovering a pilot who ejected from his aircraft and was stuck in the jungle with injures.
