KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Army Private 1st Class Christopher Litzner skillfully carves a swan from an apple to be used as a decoration for the food lines of Marshall Dining Facility here. Making garnishes help the cooks maintain their showmanship and turns the feel of the dining facility into that of a nice restaurant. The Marshall Dining Facility serves three meals to more than 1,000 U.S. military military members daily. Private Litzner is from the 1-1 Air Defense Artillery Battalion and works side-by-side with 18th Services Squadron Airmen. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Kelly Timney)
