U.S., Vanuatu share medical and disaster response expertise during PAC ANGEL 18-3
Emergency professionals from Luganville, Espiritu Santo Island and Tanna, Tanna Island, Vanuatu, participate in a disaster response simulation activity during a subject matter exchange on community disaster response as part of Pacific Angel (PAC ANGEL) 18-3 in Luganville, Vanuatu, July 11, 2018. Since 2007, PAC ANGEL engagements have impacted the lives of tens of thousands of people through providing health services ranging from dental, optometry, pediatrics and physical therapy to civil engineering programs, humanitarian aid and disaster relief and subject matter exchanges.
