Where do I get a....?

Driver's License
Driving classes are offered at the Schilling Community Center ballroom every Wednesday at 10:20 a.m. This class must be completed before members/dependents are eligible to receive a SOFA driver's licence. 


Vehicle
Vehicles can be purchased from other military individuals at the lemon lot (located in the parking lot in front of building 612), or from any of the off-base used/new car dealers. Prices typically range from $1,000-$8,000.

If you plan to purchase a vehicle from the lemon lot, be prepared to pay cash. Buying a vehicle from an off-base dealer will allow you the opportunity to pay over time.


Cell Phone/Telephone
Home phone lines can be set up at Verizon, now located in the Kadena BX. There are multiple cellular phone companies located on and off base to choose from; plans are similar to those found in the U.S.


Cable/Internet
On-base cable and internet must be purchased from Mediatti Broadband Communications, located in building 403, across from Keystone Theater.
