PUBLIC HEALTH CLINIC

Public Health's mission is to prevent injury, illness and premature death.  The Public Health Clinic provides preventive medicine services to include:  Preventive Health Assessments, Deployment Medicine, Occupational and Environmental Health, Travel Medicine, and Communicable Disease education and prevention services.  In addition, Public Health performs Safety and Sanitation inspections for all public and food facilities located on Kadena Air Base.

The Public Health Clinic is open from 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal Holidays, PACAF Family Days and Down Days.  Additionally, the 18 MDG and Public Health are closed the Third Thursday of each month at 1200 for training.   For appointments and for answers to all of your health care questions, please call us at the Public Health Front Desk:

The 18th Medical Group is home to PACAF's largest ambulatory clinic, and as such, does not provide emergency care. Please utilize the resources below if you are in need of medical attention after normal operating hours or require emergency care.

For Public Health related emergencies on Kadena Air Base:
If you need Public Health assistance after hours, please dial 080-2721-0396 for dedicated advice and instruction.  This includes but is not limited to freezer outages, foodborne illness concerns, and short-notice deployment taskings.   We have personnel on-call 24/7 to return your call, hear your concerns and provide personalized guidance depending on your need.

TRICARE Online TRICARE Online features secure access to beneficiary appointments, prescriptions, and personal health data. To register go to www.tricareonline.com click on the "Register Now on TOL" link located under the Login area on the Home page. From there, follow the instructions to complete your account registration.
