Want to see the F-22 up close? The 18th Wing and the 27th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron will host a "Meet the Raptor" Day Friday, Jan. 30 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Marine Wing Liaison Kadena (MWLK) hangar located off Douglas Blvd., just past the Lemon Lot. The event is open to all SOFA status personnel (including family members) as well as Japanese employees with base access.

All members of the base are encouraged to come out, talk to pilots and maintainers and find out more about the Air Force's most advanced fighter and its mission here in the Pacific. Photography will be permitted.

Parking is limited around the MWLK hangar so attendees are encouraged to park in the lot across from the Erwin PME Center on Arnold Ave and walk down to the MWLK hangar. A shuttle bus provided by 18th LRS will also be available to transport people from the PME Center parking lot down to the hangar. If you have questions, please call 634-1509 or e-mail 18wg.pa@kadena.af.mil.
