RED HORSE Squadron receives new leadership
U.S. Air Force Maj. Kevin Mares accepts the Detachment 1, 554th Engineers RED HORSE Squadron guidon from Lt. Col. Christopher Fuller, 554th RED HORSE Squadron commander, during a change of command ceremony on Camp Shields, Japan, June 28, 2013. Mares now commands the detachment of the rapid engineer deployable heavy operational repair squadron, which also conducts focused, hands-on mission essential equipment training on unique field assets such as electrical generators and water purification units.
