Kadena Air Base Honor Guard Drill Team performs while Consul General Kevin Maher stands in the center at the 231st United States Independence Day Ceremony and Garden Party at the U.S. Consulate in Naha, Okinawa, Japan, July 4, 2007. The day was celebrated by more than 200 Okinawans and Americans. In addition to the drill team, the Marine Corps III MEF Band performance, an Hawaiian Ukulele and Hula dance and a Karate performance was also enjoyed by those in attendance. Containers of new munitions are unloaded from the Motor Vessel Global Patriot ship during the Turbo Containerized Ammunition Distribution System exercise June 22. The munitions were for all services in Okinawa. The following day many containers filled with older munitions were onloaded to be shipped back to military installations in the U.S. for storage. Kadena opens Chili's Too
Yuriko Makamura, a Chili's Too employee, serves a patron lunch. The restaurant opened June 18 at Kadena Air Base, Japan. The base hosts one of the busiest Chili's resturants in the world. Thieves at Kadena barred from base, sanctioned with community service
Kadena Security Forces recovered some of the dozens of items stolen by six dependents on Kadena Air Base, Japan. Three of them were barred from Kadena for 10 years. The other three were given hundreds of hours of community service and other punishments for their involvement in a series of criminal acts. (U.S. Air Force photo)

Hyperbaric chamber
The hyperbaric treatment works by delivering a higher concentrations of oxygen into the affected tissue areas of the body. The patient is "sealed" into a closed chamber where the atmospheric pressure is increased.
