18th CONS donates 3,010 lbs of rice to local shelters
Approximately 3,010 pounds of rice, donated by the 18th Contracting Squadron, waits to be distributed to the local shelters August 30, 2019, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. “This amount of rice can feed nearly 90 people across three shelters for three months,” said Lt. Col. Drew Glass, 18th CONS commander. “It really puts perspective on how a little compassion can make a large impact to those in need.
