U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Matt Molloy, 18th Wing commander, speaks with Soldiers from the 1st Battalion 1st Air Defense Artillery on Kadena Air Base, Japan, Jan. 14, 2013. The Battalion's vision is that they are trained and ready to fight and win on the modern battlefield; a cohesive, team-oriented unit comprised of professional warriors. He will also be a speaker at the St. Barbara's Day Ball Jan. 25, 2013 which is held annually to celebrate St. Barbara, the patron saint of field artillery, promote camaraderie and recognize those who have served the unit.
