U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Matt Molloy, 18th Wing commander, poses with volunteers at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Sept. 26, 2012, who recently registered approximately 1,000 military and family members to become bone marrow donors. More than 100 Team Kadena members volunteered more than 100 hours registering potential bone marrow donors during a five-day lifesaving event earlier this month. "My father died of (Acute Myeloid Leukemia), that's when I became a bone marrow donor," explained Molloy. "I'm so proud of each and every one of you across the 20 squadrons. All the effort, all the time, and all the hours you committed convinced people that this was the right thing to. It would be my great honor to take a picture with you as we continue the effort to raise awareness and volunteers for a life-giving cause."
