Senior Airman James Carson, 18th Operations Support Squadron airfield manager, ensures agencies respond to a Boeing 747 parked on the flight line of Kadena Air Base, Japan, June 6, 2012. Airmen from the 18th OSS, 733rd Air Mobility Squadron and 18th Operations Group assisted the aircraft after it experienced an in-flight medical emergency. The units provided maintenance, refueling and other ground support services. Last month, Kadena Airmen assisted two civilian aircraft originally bound for Naha.
