Team Kadena welcomes unexpected visitors

Airmen from the 733rd Air Mobility Squadron and local contractors help unload snacks and drinks to hand out to about 410 passengers aboard a commercial airliner diverted from Naha airport to Kadena Air Base May 2. Kadena welcomed two aircraft originally bound for Naha in the past two days. In both instances 18th Wing and 733rd AMS personnel assisted in providing air traffic control, ground support, snacks and drinks to crew and passengers as they waited to depart for Naha.
