Technical Sgts. Melissa Schramm and Nichelle Hunter-Nichols stand with staff members from Family House Gajumaru and all the items they delivered to the facility on behalf of the Erwin Professional Military Education Center. The PME Center raised more than $800 to buy supplies for Family House Gajumaru, a low-cost lodging facility in Haebaru for families to stay while their child receives medical care at nearby Children’s Hospital or other hospitals on Okinawa Island. Many of the families who stay there come from smaller islands around Okinawa or the northern area of Okinawa. The PME center along with the Non-Commissioned Officer Academy class 12-2 and Airmen Leadership School class 12-B raised the money during Super Bowl weekend by asking students and staff to pay $1 a stripe to wear their favorite jersey.
