Airmen refuel life in Japan

Senior Airmen Allie Patterson, a fuels resource controller from Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, attaches a single point receptacle nozzle to an aerial bulk fuel delivery system (ABABS) during a refueling mission on Kadena Air Base, March 17. Airmen converted a normal jet fuel truck into a 6,000-gallon mobile gas truck in order to fill the ABABS with gasoline to take to mainland Japan to help with relief efforts.
