Shogun-Tree rescue

Two PJ’s from the 31st Rescue Squadron throw a rope over a tree branch in attempt to rescue 1st Lt. Alan “Hawk” Schulenberg, 44th Fighter Squadron, during an exercise on proper life saving procedures at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Oct. 23, 2007. In the exercise PJ’s attempted the recovery of a pilot who ejected from his aircraft and was stuck in the jungle with injures.
