Kadena Air Base and Okinawan firefighters set ablaze a simulated aircraft, at an accident site at the first bilateral off-base exercise Feb. 28, 2007, between Kadena Air Base emergency responders and local Okinawan police, fire and medical teams. The exercise was conducted to enhance cooperation between base and off-base agencies in the event of an aircraft accident.
