909th ARS building partnerships over Pacific
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Chad Halloway, 909th Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, guides a Republic of Korea F-16 to the boom of a KC-135 Stratotanker over the Asian-Pacific region April 1, 2014, in preparation for the Red Flag exercise in Alaska. Red Flag-Alaska is a series of Pacific Air Forces commander-directed field training exercises for U.S. forces, provides joint offensive counter-air, interdiction, close air support, and large force employment training in a simulated combat environment.
