Risner holds F3 grand opening
Tom Harter, 18th Force Support Squadron facilities project manager, U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. James B. Hecker, 18th Wing commander, Verna James, 18th Civil Engineering Squadron project architect, and Tech. Sgt. Heather Consola, 18th Contracting Squadron contracting specialist, cut the ribbon at the Risner Fitness Center’s Functional Fitness Facility, or F3, grand opening ceremony on Kadena Air Base, Japan, Aug. 25, 2014. The F3 is an open air, 24-hour facility that provides additional workout space as well as functional fitness equipment such as pull-up bars, still rings and climbing ropes.
