67th FS conducts training surge

A U.S. Air Force F-15C Eagle from the 67th Fighter Squadron takes off for the third time in one day during a training surge on Kadena Air Base, Japan, Jan. 7, 2015. Surges increase the number of training flights each day during a set time period in order to increase power proficiency and ensure combat readiness. Each focuses on a different aspect of combat readiness and this surge's focus was basic fighter maneuvers. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Zade C. Vadnais)
