Kadena preps for Typhoon Goni

U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 961st Aircraft Maintenance Unit perform pre-flight inspections on a U.S. Air Force E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System from the 961st Airborne Air Control Squadron on Kadena Air Base, Japan, Aug. 21, 2015. In standard preparation of typhoons like Typhoon Goni, which is slated to possibly strike this weekend, numerous flying squadrons on the base relocate their aircraft to other bases in the region to protect them from the damaging winds and debris associated with the storm.
