U.S. Airmen from the 18th Security Forces Squadron participate in oleoresin capsicum spray exposure training at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Oct. 6, 2021. Contact with OC particles in a sprayed mist form incapacitates subjects by inducing an almost immediate burning sensation of the skin and a burning, tearing and swelling of the eyes.
