Kadena preps for Typhoon Goni
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. James Wilson, 18th Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle operator, marshals a government vehicle into position in a safe zone on Kadena Air Base, Japan, to prevent damage during a typhoon Aug. 21, 2015. Each time a typhoon moves too close to Okinawa, units across Kadena follow a standardized procedure to ensure maximum safety and security for all equipment and assigned personnel. If it remains on course and at its current speed, Typhoon Goni is expected to hit Okinawa within the next few days. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Maeson L. Elleman)
