To ensure we have homes available for all services and to reduce transit time to work, we have a “Live Where You Work” policy.  This policy sets two locations for housing assignment based upon the duty location on the military member’s orders.  

Example:  If the orders say you will work at Kadena Air Base, you will be offered housing (IF AVAILABLE) at Kadena Air Base and Camp Foster.  If no housing is available in your grade (rank) and entitlement (bedrooms) at either of these locations, you will be referred to live off-post.
