Department of Defense Military Family Housing also provides furniture and appliances to military families. Persons living in Military Family Housing (on-post) on full JTR (Joint Travel Regulation), will receive access to loaner furniture kits for up to 90 days at the start and 60 days at the end of tours. Persons living in Military Family Housing (on-post) on reduced JTR, will receive access to loaner furniture for the duration of the assignment. Persons living in Community Housing (off-post) on full JTR, will receive access to loaner furniture kits for up to 90 days at the start and 60 days at the end of tours. Persons living in Community Housing (off-post) on reduced JTR, will receive access to loaner furniture for the duration of the assignment. The furniture is good quality and brand name. Available items include: bedroom sets, dining room sets and living room sets. There is no particle board furniture in our inventory! The furniture is of such good quality that we do not throw it away after you use it! We have an entire team that refurbishes the items for reissue. Please treat it like you purchased it…a taxpayer did, for your benefit.
All persons in Military Family Housing (on-post) receive stoves, ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, clothes washers and clothes dryers. Persons living in Community Housing (off-post) have access to stoves, ovens, refrigerators, clothes washers and clothes dryers. The appliances are good quality and brand name.
